This can be one of the hardest times. You need to announce that your loved one had died or you need to write to the family of a loved one to express your sympathy. There are various types of funeral cards which are appropriate at this time.

Eulogy / Memorial Cards

One is a small card for the service. It is a remembrance card that people attending the service can take home with them. This typically lists out the birth date /location and date of death /location. It might include some brief facts about the person's life and survivor information. It is typically signed from the immediate family.

Announcement Cards

This card is to be sent out to family and friends that were not able to attend the services. It might be the same as the Eulogy Card or perhaps a more standard card size to be mailed. Essentially, it is also a remembrance card. This typically lists out the birth date /location and date of death /location. It might include some brief facts about the person's life and survivor information. It is typically signed from the immediate family.
